Los VMAs 2020 presentaron un show por todo lo alto desafiando las dificultades y apoyando la distancia social entregaron una presentación por todo lo alto cargadito de música, color y buen baile. La música triunfó este domingo y tuvimos unas performances increíbles como la que vimos con The Weeknd haciendo Blinding Lights, Black Eyed Peas cantando Vida Loca y I Gotta Feeling, Lady Gaga y un BRILLANTE mash-up de Chromatica/Rain On Me/ 911/ Stupid Love, Sin olvidar a los ganadores del evento aunque más de alguno difiero aqui les dejo la lista y los discursos:
Lady Gaga fue la gran ganadora en los MTV VMAs 2020 esta noche (30 de agosto), llevándose cinco premios. Tres de los trofeos de la estrella se compartieron con Ariana Grande por su pista colaborativa ‘Rain On Me’, que incluyen Canción del año, Mejor colaboración y Mejor fotografía. La pareja también interpretó la pista en vivo por primera vez en la ceremonia socialmente distanciada. Gaga también eligió Artista del año y recibió el primer premio Tricon por su arte y esfuerzos filantrópicos.
BTS se llevó cuatro trofeos Moonman al Mejor Grupo, Mejor Pop, Mejor K-pop y Mejor Coreografía por ‘On’. El grupo coreano también hizo la presentación en vivo de debut de su nuevo sencillo ‘Dynamite’ . El video del año fue para The Weeknd por ‘Blinding Lights’, quien también ganó el premio al Mejor R&B por la misma pista. La estrella usó sus dos discursos de aceptación para pedir justicia para Jacob Blake y Breonna Taylor.
La ceremonia, que originalmente estaba programada para tener lugar en el Barclays Center de Brooklyn, pero se trasladó a varios lugares al aire libre debido a la pandemia de coronavirus, fue organizada por Keke Palmer. El presentador abrió el espectáculo rindiendo homenaje a Chadwick Boseman , quien falleció el viernes (28 de agosto).
