La temporada de premios entra en su momento más esperado con el anuncio oficial de los nominados a los Premios Oscar 2026. La 98ª edición, organizada por la Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS), se celebrará el próximo 15 de marzo de 2026 en el icónico Dolby Theatre de Hollywood, en Los Ángeles, donde se reconocerá a las mejores películas estrenadas durante 2025.
Las nominaciones fueron dadas a conocer la mañana del 22 de enero desde el Samuel Goldwyn Theater, en una transmisión en vivo que tuvo como anfitriones a Danielle Brooks y Lewis Pullman, marcando el inicio oficial de la carrera hacia la estatuilla dorada.
Con Conan O’Brien confirmado como presentador por segundo año consecutivo, la ceremonia de este año contará con 24 categorías competitivas y suma por primera vez una nueva distinción: Mejor Casting, un reconocimiento largamente esperado por la industria que pone en valor el trabajo detrás de la selección de talentos.
Más que una lista de títulos y nombres, las nominaciones reflejan el pulso creativo del cine contemporáneo: historias que dialogan con el presente, apuestas autorales, grandes producciones y actuaciones que marcaron la temporada cinematográfica. A partir de hoy, comienza la cuenta regresiva para descubrir qué películas, directores y artistas quedarán inscritos en la historia de los Oscar.
