Movie Review
I was very excited, to attend the premiere of the Tomb Raider, along with all the fans of the saga. This film is hundred percent pure action from the beginning to the end, during the movie we find a very different Lara Croft from what we used to have with Angelina Jolie, to my surprise Alicia Vikander made it extraordinary she is a mix between an innocent sweet compassioned girl with exceptional courage. Based on the Lara Croft video games from 2013 we find a modern, athletic and considerate heroine. There is a significant similarity between the video game and the film, the Norwegian director Roar Uthaug has kindly respected the original story achieving a great resemblance. The action shots, the soundtrack and the special effects, are very well executed, the viewer manages to connect and engage with our heroine Lara, she goes through massive battles and adventures, but at the end, she manages to survive all of them.
If you have not seen the previous films of Lara Croft in 2001 and 2003, is not a big deal because this film is not related to previous versions. The story beginnings with Lara Croft is 21 years old; she struggles to find her way, alone in this life, she is searching for a clue that helps her to track her father disappearance, to achieve this trial she will have to cross many for incredible adventures, risking her life with an uncertain future. If you enjoy action movies, heroines and video games, this is your movie to watch.
Moral of the Movie
Life continually puts us to the test, in the search to find our true identity, Who are we?, Where are we going ?, What do we want from this life? These and many more will be the questions, for which our protagonist will be wondering during this film, to forge the personality that we all know today as Lara Croft.
synopsis
Lara Croft is the fiercely independent daughter of an eccentric adventurer who vanished when she was scarcely a teen. Now a young woman of 21 without any real focus or purpose, Lara navigates the chaotic streets of trendy East London as a bike courier, barely making the rent, and takes college courses, rarely making it to class. Determined to forge her own path, she refuses to take the reins of her father’s global empire just as staunchly as she rejects the idea that he’s truly gone. Advised to face the facts and move forward after seven years without him, even Lara can’t understand what drives her to finally solve the puzzle of his mysterious death.
Going explicitly against his final wishes, she leaves everything she knows behind in search of her dad’s last-known destination: a fabled tomb on a mythical island that might be somewhere off the coast of Japan. But her mission will not be an easy one; just reaching the island will be extremely treacherous. Suddenly, the stakes couldn’t be higher for Lara, who—against the odds and armed with only her sharp mind, blind faith and inherently stubborn spirit—must learn to push herself beyond her limits as she journeys into the unknown. If she survives this perilous adventure, it could be the making of her, earning her the name tomb raider.

Comentario de la Película
Con gran emoción fui al estreno de la película de Tomb Raider, junto con todos los fans de la saga. Esta película es cien por cierto pura acción desde que comienza hasta el final, este film nos trae una Lara Croft muy diferente a lo que nos tenia habituados Angelina Jolie, para mi sorpresa Alicia Vikander lo hizo extraordinario es una mezcla entre pureza compasión y gran valentía. Basada en los videos juegos de Lara Croft del 2013 encontramos a una heroína totalmente cambiada mas moderna, atlética y considerada. La similitud entre el video juego y la película es sorprendente el director Noruego Roar Uthaug ha respetado la historia original logrando un gran parecido. Las tomas de acción, la banda sonora y los efectos especiales están muy bien logrados, el espectador logra conectarse con nuestra heroína Lara, quien pasa por grandes batallas y aventuras pero logra sobrevivir a todas ellas.
Si no has visto las películas anteriores de Lara Croft en el 2001 y 2003 no pasa nada pues esta película no guarda relación con las versiones anteriores, nos cuenta la historia de los comienzos de Lara Croft cuando a sus 21 años, lucha por abrirse camino sola ante la vida, en la búsqueda por encontrar una pista que lo conecte con su padre ella surcara por muchísimas aventuras arriesgando a su vida en un incierto futuro. La película es para un publico quien le guste las películas de acción, de heroínas y video juegos.
Moraleja de la Película
La vida nos pone constantemente a prueba, en la búsqueda de encontrar nuestra verdadera identidad, Quienes somos?, Donde vamos?, Que deseamos de la vida? estas y muchas más serán las interrogantes, por la cual nuestra protagonista se irá cuestionando durante esta película, para forjar la personalidad que hoy conocemos como Lara Croft.
Sinopsis
Lara Croft es la hija feroz e independiente de un excéntrico aventurero que desapareció cuando ella era apenas una adolescente. Ahora, con apenas 21 años es una mujer que no tiene ningún enfoque o propósito real. Lara navega por las calles caóticas del moderno Este de Londres como una mensajera en bicicleta, apenas ganando lo suficiente para pagar el alquiler. Decidida a forjar su propio camino, se niega firmemente a tomar las riendas del imperio global de su padre como también a la idea de rechazar, que su padre realmente se ha ido. Aconsejada a enfrentarse a los hechos y seguir adelante después de siete años sin él, incluso Lara no puede entender lo que la impulsa a finalmente resolver el enigma de su misteriosa muerte.
Dejando todo lo que sabe atrás, Lara busca el último destino conocido de su padre: una legendaria tumba en una isla mítica que podría estar en algún lugar de la costa de Japón. Pero su misión no será fácil; sólo llegar a la isla será un camino extremadamente traicionero. De repente, lo que está en juego no podría ser más alto para Lara, que, en contra de viento y marea y armada sólo con su mente aguda, fe ciega y espíritu intrínsecamente obstinado, debe aprender a empujarse más allá de sus límites mientras viaja hacia lo desconocido. Si ella sobrevive a esta peligrosa aventura, podría ser su bautismo… ganándose el nombre de “Tomb Raider: Las Aventuras de Lara Croft: Las Aventuras de Lara Croft”.

Tomb Raider Survivor es un videojuego de acción-aventura desarrollado por Crystal Dynamics y distribuido por Square Enix. Es el noveno título de la serie Tomb Raider y el quinto título desarrollado por Crystal Dynamics. El juego es un reinicio de la serie y cuenta los orígenes de la protagonista de la serie, Lara Croft. Es el primer juego de la serie en ser clasificado Mature (M) por la ESRB y 18 por la PEGI. El juego fue lanzado para PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Microsoft Windows, Origin y Steam el 1 de marzo de 2013, para Mac OS el 23 de enero de 2014 y para PlayStation 4 y Xbox One el 31 de enero de 2014 como Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition.
